Since chemistry and legislation is not an easy combination, we have developed our own unique methodology through years of translating chemical documents. We understand how challenging and complex chemical texts can be. We understand that even one mistranslated word can cause serious health and safety problems.
We have 18 years of experience working for the chemical industry. We have translated more than 10 million words in the chemical field. We cooperate with several international and European companies and organisations, such as Glencore International, Ecolab, the Nickel Institute, Rio Tinto, Tokyo Chemical Industry, Arkema, CEFIC, ICL Group, Kwizda Agro, Schulke & Mayr GmbH and many more.
REACH, CLP, biocides, food additives, agrochemicals, cosmetics
We support our partners in translating chemical documents into all EU and many non-EU languages, such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, Latin American Spanish, Hindu, Indonesian and many others. We translate:
We also do certified translations by translators registered in the target countries where the certified translation is needed to be submitted.
ECHA’s IUCLID
In order to further facilitate our client’s obligations as regards the authorisation process, we can work with the files exported from the ECHA’s IUCLID. Our clients will receive the translations back in the same format, so they only need to import and open these in IUCLID. They do not need to copy-paste each entry manually, so they save a lot of time and money. Chemical documents, and SPCs in particular, are usually quite repetitive.
We work with expert teams
Most of the translations are carried out by a team of two translators. Our translators have a great deal of experience in chemical translations, whether the translatable files are reports, brochures, SDSs or Exposure Scenarios, or registration documents. They are also aware of the local legislation and requirements. The first translator always has a background in chemistry, while the second translator is also an expert in EU, international, and local legislation or regulatory affairs. In case of chemical translations, using artificial intelligence is not so common due to the nature of the text.
The more you translate with Eurideas, the less the job will cost you.
Besides offering volume discounts, we offer huge discounts for repetitions. Since SDSs and Exposure Scenarios are quite repetitive, we keep all your previous translations and use them for your new jobs. This is how we maximise the efficiency of our work.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further information.
